Aasif Mandvi: "Behind the Scenes of the REAL Fake News"

Comedian Aasif Mandvi, known from the Daily Show, is coming to Miami April 20 at 7:30 p.m. in Benton 102 to discuss "Behind the Scenes of the REAL Fake News." Co-Sponsored by College Democrats, Association of Jewish Students, Sketched Out, and Parents' Fund.

Lecture Board looks to provide students with quality on campus event programming by bringing revelant current events and thought-provoking speakers to campus. In the past, Lecture Board has brought in speakers such as political analyst James Carville and comedian Dave Chappelle, and often works with other student organizations to co-sponsor lectures. Lecture Board also is in charge of the Miami University Outstanding Professor Awards, which honors professors that make a difference on the Miami campus, and gives seniors and every nominated professor a memorable dinner and ceremony together in early April.
