Miami Lecture Series Presents, Bill Nye the Science Guy

Tickets will be available through a lottery system on Blackboard
Tuesday, February 1st:
Men’s Basketball Game vs. Ball State
7pm Millett Hall
Food and entertainment begin at 5pm in Millett lobby. There will be check-ins for both Greek organizations and Residence Halls at this location. Shirt and hat giveaways will be giving during the week and at this event. Other prizes will also be available to win at the game.
Wednesday, Feburary 2nd:
Women’s Basketball Game vs. Central Michigan
7pm Millet Hall
Food and entertainment begin at 5pm in Millett lobby. There will be check-ins for both Greek organizations and Residence Halls at this location. Shirt and hat giveaways will be giving during the week and at this event. Other prizes will also be available to win at the game.
The chapter and Residence Hall with the highest percentage of attendance between both the Men’s AND Women’s basketball games will be awarded a $500 MONETARY PRIZE towards their philanthropy or Community Council. In addition, the Residence Hall and Greek organization that has the highest percentage of attendance at just the women’s game will receive an additional $500. Our goal is to try and promote attendance to both games, especially the Women’s. For Greek Organizations, this is a GREAT opportunity to host a brotherhood/ sisterhood event and to receive non-alc points for your chapter. At check-in, we will be keeping track of representation from each Residence Hall and Sorority/Fraternity.

Friday, February 4th:
Men’s Hockey Game vs. Michigan
7pm Goggin Ice Center
Entertainment and giveaways begin at 5pm. Entertainment will include Redhawk Radio, eating competitions, trivia, and other activities.
Spirit Board aims to encourage campus involvement and create exceptional events for Miami University students to display school spirit. Ranging from constructing fun events around sporting games to creating a float for the Homecoming parade, Spirit Board strives to provide the student body with the full Miami experience. We honor Miami University traditions, and work to create new ones as well!
